Welcome!

Biofeedback is a type of therapy that can help reduce symptoms of certain mental health and physical health problems by changing one’s psychophysiology. Relaxation training is an essential part of the treatment provided.

Biofeedback is also defined as ‘Biofeedback and Self-Regulation’ because this type of therapy asks one to learn and practice on one’s own time, outside the office sessions. This ‘home practice’ is the beginning of generalizing what is learned in the office to one’s daily life.

Biofeedback is a short term therapy. When biofeedback is combined with stress management and mental health counseling, it may be covered by one’s health insurance company. Financial coverage may vary. Often a co-pay is required.

Linda Lasner is a certified biofeedback therapist who has been in clinical practice for 25 years. Ms. Lasner is a member of The Association for Applied Psychophysiology and Biofeedback,  The Northeast Regional Biofeedback Society and an associate member of The Philadelphia Society of Clinical Psychologists.
